Domestic Drafting and Design, a residential design and plan service, is the result of 34 years of pursuing education and practical experience in the design and construction industry. The perspectives in the design and construction industry are always being re-interpreted or transformed. In some cases, respect for tradition may be supreme, and in other cases, “breaking the mold” can be synonymous with individual expression, or new and ever-changing scientific, artistic, and social developments.      Whatever your perspective or orientation, you want to work with someone that understands design and construction, so as to help you develop your, dream, or vision in to a viable experience that meets or exceeds your expectations. Domestic Drafting and Design is a home-based business, owned and operated by Fred Armstrong, now living in Havelock, North Carolina that deals solely with residential design and construction drawings. If you are considering a new dwelling or a new addition/renovation, Domestic Drafting and Design can help.      Some samples of projects have been included illustrating design and drafting efforts to date. At this time, the site is a work in progress, and is only illustrating genereal references to previous projects. As time allows, a number of projects will be elaborated on, showing additional drawings, renderings, and construction photos.
